Yesterday, Joe Winkley, Head of Corporate Services at Winterflood Securities, attended The Investor Summit 2025 at The Brewery on Chiswell Street in London.
Private investors, fund managers, and financial professionals gathered for a day of expert led panels, networking, and strategic discussions across a wide range of investment themes.
During the conference, Joe spoke on a panel discussion entitled “The De-equitisation of Global Markets”, where he outlined multiple factors driving the decline in UK-listed companies, the role regulation plays and how FCA initiatives can help revive IPO activity, and the increasing importance of retail investors in supporting the UK equity market.
Thank you to David Belle, Fink Money, for moderating the panel, and to the other panellists Sarah Content, Portfolio Design Specialist, Cathal Friel, Co-founder & Executive Chairman of Poolbeg Pharma plc & European Green Transition, and Mark Wharrier, for the engaging discussion.
It was great to attend the event and connect once again with the investor community.
